IYF Global Calls on UN International Days

 

Each year, the International Yoga Federation marks a selection of United Nations international days with coordinated global yoga calls. These observances highlight key themes such as education, gender equality, health, peace, human rights and inclusion.

On every date listed below, IYF encourages its members, partners and yoga practitioners worldwide to host events, online sessions and awareness activities in alignment with the official UN framework.

International Day of Education

IYF focus: inclusive, quality and lifelong education (SDG 4).

The International Yoga Federation invites all participants to a global yoga call dedicated to inclusive, quality and lifelong education. This day highlights learning, awareness and the transformative role of yoga in human development.

IYF focus: gender equality, women’s rights and empowerment.
