YOGA & AWARENESS FESTIVALS

Yoga & Awareness Festival banner

The International Yoga & Awareness Festivals are global gatherings coordinated by the International Yoga Federation (IYF) in collaboration with independent partner organizations, yoga schools, and volunteer networks in various countries. Each festival combines practical yoga sessions with educational seminars focusing on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly on peacebuilding, climate action, gender equality, health, and social inclusion.

IYF’s role is to provide the global coordination framework, thematic guidance, and international outreach for these festivals, while the implementation, funding, and logistics are managed by local member organizations, sponsors, and partner institutions. All activities are conducted on a voluntary and non-profit basis, supported by the contributions of IYF members and the generosity of sponsors.

The seminars, titled "Seminars for Global Peace and Unity," serve as international dialogue platforms that promote awareness and collective action. Experts, practitioners, and participants from diverse backgrounds explore how inner transformation through yoga and awareness practices can contribute to outer harmony and sustainable peace. Through guided practices, interactive discussions, and exchange of knowledge, participants discover how individual awareness can drive collective progress.

These festivals not only inform but also inspire—building bridges between communities, fostering compassion, and empowering global citizens to contribute to a more peaceful, inclusive, and sustainable world in alignment with the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

Note: The International Yoga & Awareness Festivals are coordinated globally by the International Yoga Federation (IYF). Each event is implemented locally by independent member organizations, yoga schools, and volunteer partners. Funding and sponsorship are provided through voluntary contributions and partnerships, while IYF’s role is limited to global coordination, thematic guidance, and network facilitation in line with its non-profit and non-commercial framework.
