IYEC PARTNER PROGRAM

A Registered Partnership within the International Yoga Federation

INTRODUCTION

The IYEC Partner Program is the official partnership and registration framework of the International Yoga Federation for institutions and individuals actively involved in professional yoga education and training.

All participants of the IYEC Partner Program are recognized as Registered Partners of IYF and operate within its international educational, ethical, and certification framework.

This program is designed to support quality, integrity, and accessibility in yoga education while allowing full independence and diversity in teaching approaches.
 

WHO CAN JOIN THE IYEC PARTNER PROGRAM

The IYEC Partner Program is open to:

• Yoga centers and yoga schools
• National and regional yoga federations
• Educational institutes and academies
• Individual yoga professionals and educators

Partners may participate at institutional or individual level depending on their structure and scope of activity.
 

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE AN IYEC PARTNER

IYEC Partners are officially recognized as Registered Partners of IYF and may:

• Organize and host International Yoga Expert Certification (IYEC) programs
• Deliver IYEC education through certified instructors
• Offer participants internationally issued IYEC certificates
• Be listed on IYF global platforms as registered partners
• Contribute to the global development of ethical and professional yoga education

Being an IYEC Partner does not replace an institution’s or individual’s existing identity, methodology, or educational philosophy.
 

IYEC AND REGISTERED PARTNERSHIP STATUS

Participation in the IYEC Partner Program automatically grants Registered Partner status within IYF.

This status reflects:
• Alignment with international educational principles
• Commitment to ethical conduct and transparency
• Active contribution to professional yoga education

Registered Partner status is based on collaboration, not hierarchy or control.
 

ELIGIBILITY AND BASIC REQUIREMENTS

For Institutions (Yoga Centers, Federations, Institutes):

• At least one IYEC Certified Trainer in the teaching team, or a commitment to train one
• Willingness to organize or support IYEC programs
• Alignment with IYF ethical and educational guidelines

For Individual Partners:

• Completion of IYEC or enrollment in the IYEC pathway
• Active involvement in yoga education, training, or mentorship
• Commitment to IYF principles and Code of Conduct

CERTIFICATION AND QUALITY ASSURANCE

• All official IYEC certificates are issued by IYF
• IYEC Partners focus on education, mentoring, and delivery
• IYF ensures international recognition and certification consistency
• Quality assurance processes are applied to protect educational integrity

FINANCIAL PRINCIPLES

• No general membership fee is required in the first year for active IYEC Partners
• Certification-related contributions are applied per participant
• Financial arrangements are transparent and aligned with local regulations

A COLLABORATIVE MODEL

IYEC Partners:

• Operate independently
• Retain full control over internal structures and pricing
• Integrate IYEC programs in harmony with their existing activities

IYF does not interfere with internal governance, educational style, or local operations.
