IYF is an independent non-profit organization conducting programs aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
 

Engagement with the United Nations ECOSOC

The International Yoga Federation (IYF) submitted its application for Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in 2024.

The application was reviewed during the 2025 sessions of the NGO Committee. The review process is ongoing in accordance with ECOSOC procedures.

IYF continues to align its programs and activities with the principles and objectives of the United Nations, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals, through education, health, peace, and well-being initiatives.

As an independent non-profit organization, IYF does not represent the United Nations and does not use any UN logos or emblems. Any future cooperation with UN bodies would be subject to formal approval and established procedures.
